The Cambro CBU214884VS5580 Camshelving® Basics Plus starter shelving unit provides two storage options with its solid and vented shelves. The solid shelf is ideal for small or irregularly shaped items, linens, and product that's prone to leaking, while the vented shelves encourage airflow to reduce moisture and dust buildup. To protect stored contents from contaminants, each shelf is made of rust- and corrosion-resistant polypropylene and treated with an antimicrobial protection agent that inhibits bacterial and growth. As shelves get dirty, they can be wiped down and cleaned in a dishmachine for thorough sanitization.
Operators can position the shelves as desired along the Cambro CBU214884VS5580 starter shelving unit's composite posts as inventory changes. The top shelf can support 400 pounds, while each lower shelf can hold 600 pounds; overall, this unit is engineered to accommodate 1,800 pounds. To expedite assembly, 10 traverses, five bags of eight dovetails, and preassembled post connectors and wedges are included, and it's compatible with storage environments from -36 to 190 degrees Fahrenheit. Leveling feet built onto the bottom of the composite posts balance the unit on irregular or uneven surfaces so it's stable when users remove product or load items.
