Designed with all-purpose prep work in mind, the Dexter Russell S145-10G-PCP Sani-Safe® chef's knife has a 10-inch-long, stiff blade that's wide and tapers to a point. Because of this blade style, the knife can be used for chopping, slicing, dicing, and mincing. It has unique edge geometry that provides sharp, accurate cuts when cooks are using a gentle, rocking motion. The blade is made of corrosion-resistant high-carbon steel, while the handle is made of polypropylene—a durable material that's textured to create a slip-resistant grip. This knife's handle is green, so it can be used in a color-coded prep system.
