Hatco S-27 Description
The Hatco S-27 Imperial booster water heater stores 16 gallons of hot water and provides water at 180 degrees Fahrenheit, required to thoroughly sanitize and flash-dry dishes and flatware. For low-temperature dishwashers, this water heat can be adjusted to 140 degrees Fahrenheit. To ensure temperatures do not get too high, this unit includes a pressure-relief valve and a pressure-reducing valve. While water is heated properly, the pilot indicator light turns red to inform the user.
To prevent heating element burnout, the Hatco S-27 booster water heater has a low-water cut-off feature and a high-temperature limit control switch. Operation can be monitored on the two pressure gauges and adjusted using the thermostat screw. The fiberglass insulation and built-in heat trap ensure minimal heat loss while the Castone®-lined tank prevents limestone buildup over time.
