Hatco S-27 Description
Designed to be attached to a dishwasher, the Hatco S-27 Imperial booster heater ensures water temperature is increased so dishes are properly sanitized. The thermostat is calibrated to maintain 180 degrees Fahrenheit, but it can be changed to 140 degrees Fahrenheit to accommodate low-temperature dishmachines. Able to hold 16 gallons, this unit can produce 573 GPH of sanitizing rinse water per hour, and its tank is lined with Castone®—a nontoxic material that prevents corrosion.
When the tank water gets low, a low-water cut-off feature shuts the unit off to prevent the heating element from burning up. Likewise, if the temperatures exceed the safe limit, a high-temperature limit control shuts off the unit. Heat loss is reduced with fiberglass insulation and a built-in heat trap. This Hatco S-27 booster heater has a hammertone finish and stainless steel front that provides access to internal components.
