Hatco C-45 Description
The Hatco C-45 Compact water booster heater can raise 452 gallons per hour by 40 degrees Fahrenheit and 258 gallons per hour by 70 degrees Fahrenheit. This heater brings water to 180 degrees Fahrenheit, which is required to sanitize clean dishes in a high-temperature dishmachine. Water is heated in a Castone®-lined tank that is designed to resist corrosion and mineral buildup. For energy efficiency, the tank is insulated with fiberglass, and it can hold 6 gallons of water at a time. Removable for internal access, the unit's front is rust-resistant stainless steel, and its sides are coated with hammertone to resist dings and corrosion.
To prevent overheating and internal damage, the Hatco C-45 booster heater has a high-limit switch that cuts off the power when it grows too hot and a relief valve that releases air when the pressure is too high. A minimum water level is set with the low-water cut-off feature, preventing the elements from burning out. During the heating process, an indicator light turns on, and when hot water is not needed, a manual on/off switch can shut the unit off.
