Hatco C-18 Description
Lined with Castone® to prevent corrosion and limestone, the Hatco C-18 compact booster water heater is powder-coated silver with a hammertone finish and has a stainless steel front panel and fiberglass insulation. For safe operation, this unit includes a high-temperature limit, a low-water cut-off, and a pilot indicator light. Temperatures can be monitored using a relief valve, pressure gauges, and a calibrated immersion thermostat. This booster is also operated with an on/off switch and a pressure-reducing valve.
The Hatco C-18 compact booster water heater can be installed with slide mounting brackets, which are sold separately, or stand on the included 6-inch legs. This booster is pre-wired and pre-plumbed in the factory with a 3⁄4-in. NPT pipe and fittings for a water inlet and outlet. The front panel swings away, granting access to control fuses, a transformer, probes, and elements. This unit brings water to the required temperature of 180 degrees Fahrenheit to sanitize dishes and eliminate bacteria.
