Hatco C-18 Description
The Hatco C-18 compact booster water heater is designed to warm water for the final rinse needed for dishes and flatware. It brings water to 180 degrees Fahrenheit to ensure that all bacteria have been killed and items have been properly sanitized. Temperatures in this unit are monitored with a calibrated immersion thermostat and two temperature and pressure gauges. Included are a pilot indicator light, a temperature and pressure relief valve, and a pressure-reducing valve.
With fiberglass insulation, the Hatco C-18 compact booster water heater reduces how much heat is lost from the unit. The body has a powder-coated silver hammertone finish, and the swing-away front panel is constructed of durable stainless steel. In order to prevent the formation of scale and corrosion, the tank is lined with Castone®. For safety reasons, this water heater cuts off when water levels get too low, and a switch keeps temperatures from getting too high.
