Coffee Servers & Dispensers For Sale
Coffee Servers: What You Need to Know
For hotel guests using a complimentary coffee serving station, or waiters and waitresses serving refills to restaurant customers, it's important to have the ideal coffee dispensers. Taking an airpot from table to table at a busy diner would not be efficient, and putting a French press in a busy waiting room would leave your guests confused. Both options offer an advantage over classic coffee pots when used in the right circumstances, though.
Common Questions About Coffee Dispensers
How is the coffee dispensed?
Coffee servers include one of two options for dispensing product: hand pouring and stationary pouring. If hand pouring is ideal for your operation, you can choose from classic coffee pots, insulated carafes, and French presses. These options can all be carried in one hand and include handles for pouring.
Airpots and coffee shuttles pour coffee from a stationary position. Users flip a nozzle or push a button or lever to pour coffee using gravity or air pressure. These dispensers are portable for flexible placement but aren't designed to be carried between guests for individual service.
What coffee service options do I have?
- Insulated coffee carafes are pitchers made of plastic or stainless steel that can hold between just a few cups and 10 or more. Because they keep coffee heated without the need for a warmer, they can be used for a variety of applications, and they are ideal to leave with guests for refills from their table as they please.
- Coffee shuttles are insulated vessels that hold as much as 10 gallons. They are designed to pair with a brewer and can be moved for coffee serving at a second location. Operators may choose to place these coffee servers in waiting rooms or multiple server stations after brewing.
- Airpots are insulated coffee dispensers that use a lever or button to dispense a beverage using pressurized air. These dispensers need to be in a stationary location when in use because coffee is not poured. They are ideal for self-service stations when paired with racks to organize cups, sugar, creamer, and stirrers.
- Classic coffee pots hold about 60 ounces and are designed to be left on a warmer when not in service. They are ideal for shuttling coffee quickly from table to table but may also be placed in break rooms and waiting rooms for individual use.
- French presses serve the dual function of coffee brewer and coffee dispenser. These containers allow coffee grounds to contact hot water directly, and then filter them out using a special plunger. This leads to a richer, more customized cup, and is ideal for hotels and fine-dining establishments striving to give their guests a high-end coffee experience.
How is the coffee kept warm?
Coffee servers may use insulation to keep coffee warm for hours or pair with an external heating element to accomplish this goal.
Can these dispense tea?
While some coffee servers such as airpots and carafes can be used easily for hot tea, tea-specific pots and kettles are also available.
