Salvajor 200 Description
Dealing with waste in a food service establishment can be difficult, but the Salvajor 200 2301 disposer makes working with waste easier and more sanitary. The mixing chamber is large, allowing water and waste to combine properly before it enters the waste line. That enables a built-in water restriction that saves thousands of dollars per year. When waste goes down the disposal, an 8-inch-diameter rotor made of wear resistant hardened carbide alloy uses four cutter bars to cut up large chunks, while an 8-inch-diameter shredder tears the rest of the waste into smaller pieces. To lengthen the life of the cutting teeth, the direction of the rotation can be reversed with the proper controller so wear does not always happen on one side of the blades. The Salvajor 200 2301 disposer's strong, 2-horsepower motor is water cooled to provide efficiency and eliminate the moving parts of a fan-cooled system, which can mean less maintenance and a longer life.
