The Hoshizaki KMD860MRJZ ice machine head can produce 967 pounds of crescent cube ice if the ambient temperature is 70 degrees and the incoming water temperature is 50 degrees Fahrenheit. For durability through repeated use, this unit has a stainless steel exterior and evaporator. To maintain clean internal components, this unit is designed with H-GUARD Plus antimicrobial agent. To ensure optimal air circulation, this unit requires a 6-inch clearance on both sides, the rear, and above the unit.

The Hoshizaki KMD860MRJZ ice maker head relies on R404A refrigerant which is eco-friendly and energy efficient. This unit is air-cooled and requires both a remote condenser and an ice bin for operation, both of which are sold separately. If this unit experiences a drastic change in temperatures, an EverCheck™ alert system with sound to alert users to address the issue.
