Manitowoc Ice IDT1500W/D970 Description
Producing full-cube ice, the Manitowoc Ice IDT-1500W/D-970 Indigo NXT™ ice maker with bin is perfect for operations that sell many drinks. Although the cubes have a large surface area, they do not cool drinks as quickly as small ice types. An acoustical probe uses sound waves to measure the thickness of the cubes, ensuring they are uniform before they drop into the bin. In 24 hours, the ice machine head can make 1,725 pounds, and this amount is programmable based on a daily volume or operation time. The touchscreen display provides the user with alerts and shows the operating status.
The Manitowoc Ice IDT-1500W/D-970 ice machine with bin has an 882-pound storage capacity. The bin liner is made of polyurethane, and insulation holds cold air inside to prevent quick melting. Staff members can easily access the ice since the door can be opened from any angle with built-in side grips. The door has a self-latching, stay-open design for convenient scooping, and the ice scoop has a 5.3-pound capacity and built-in hand guards to prevent contamination.
