Vulcan VC5ED Description
The Vulcan VC5ED convection oven's front, sides, and top are made of rust-resistant stainless steel, which is efficient to clean. The top, rear, sides, and bottom are insulated to retain heat. The two stainless steel doors operate independently, can be removed for cleaning, and have double-pane windows that enable the user to see the interior. This interior is made of porcelain enamel over steel and is illuminated by interior lights.
The Vulcan VC5ED electric convection oven comes equipped with five nickel-plated oven racks and nickel-plated, 11-position rack guides with positive racks stops. Solid, electric sheath elements provide heat, while a two-speed blower motor distributes the steam throughout the oven cavity. The moisture vent prevents food from becoming soggy. An oven switch initiates rapid cooldown and the solid-state temperature dial control utilizes an LED display to assist the user with operation. The 5-hour countdown timer features an audible alarm to alert nearby operators.
