The thermostat has a temperature range from 200 to 450 degrees Fahrenheit, so the griddle works well for thorough cooking or simple reheating prior to plating. Two sheathed, tubular incoloy heating elements warm the ¹/₂-inch-thick steel griddle plate for high-contact heating results. Small- and medium-sized establishments would benefit from the griddle's 36-inch-wide by 24-inch-deep griddle plate.

The Vulcan HEG36E commercial electric griddle is made of stainless steel for durability, and its smooth surfaces are simple to wipe down. This unit's silver material exterior disguises common kitchen wear, such as scrapes, to maintain a sleek appearance over time. Designed to fit on a countertop, the griddle is only 15³/₁₀ inches tall, and this height can be adjusted to any kitchen environment with its four modifiable legs.
