This Vulcan HEG36E HEG-E Series heavy-duty electric griddle boasts a 36-inch-wide by 24-inch-deep griddle plate, making it a good choice for low- to medium-traffic kitchens. By using three snap-action thermostats and cycling lights—one for each 12-inch griddle section—operators can control portions of the griddle plate for best cooking results. After setting the temperature on the thermostats, which adjust from 200 to 450 degrees Fahrenheit, two sheathed, tubular incoloy heating elements warm the griddle as directed. Chrome heavy-duty knob guards protect thermostat controls from tampering or accidental adjustments.

Designed for low maintenance, the Vulcan HEG36E heavy-duty electric griddle has a stainless steel front, sides, and adjustable legs that wipe down quickly, and its durable structure withstands common kitchen wear, such as scuffs. A 4-inch-tall rear splash guard and tapered side splash guards line the edges of the griddle plate to protect countertops from splashing oil. This design streamlines cleanup and helps move the grease down the grease trough and into the removable 1.5-gallon grease drawer. The griddle's countertop design and four adjustable legs increase convenience, making it an evolving piece of equipment that meets changing kitchen needs.
