The Vollrath 0643N Tomato Pro™ cutter's base is constructed of high-density polyethylene, which can consistently touch acidic foods, such as tomatoes, without corroding. As users operate the push-through slicing mechanism, this unit's positive-stop arm maintains slicer sturdiness. Cutting 3⁄16-inch slices, the cutter has straight blades, and its compact size enables it to sit on a countertop.
