Its dovetails are molded into the preassembled steel and polypropylene posts, eliminating a time-consuming assembly step; these components also distinguish this shelving system from Cambro's Elements and Basics Plus shelving units. The add-on shelving unit can be affixed to the unit in L, U, and T shapes or in a straight line, depending on available storage space. For a uniform look with the starter shelving unit and other Premium components, it's speckled gray. Because the posts and traverses have polypropylene coatings, they resist corrosion in humid environments, and this unit is safe in temperatures between -36 and 190 degrees Fahrenheit.
