The five solid shelves on this Cambro CPU214284S5PKG Camshelving® Premium shelving unit lack the gaps of vented shelving, providing the ideal storage surface for small and irregularly shaped items or potentially leaky products. These shelves also work well with linens since their solid designs won't leave creases in the fabric. Made of polypropylene, these shelves resist damage from humidity, moisture, chemicals, and acidic foods. Because the shelf plates are removable, they can be washed in a commercial dishmachine. Between cleanings, antimicrobial protection shields them from mold and bacterial growth. This shelving unit is safe in temperatures between -36 and 190 degrees Fahrenheit, so it can be used in pantries, walk-ins, and dishrooms.
Part of Cambro's Premium series, this Cambro CPU214284S5PKG starter shelving unit is well-suited for high-volume storage, working well with heavy products and operations with daily deliveries. In addition to being more durable than Basics Plus and Elements series shelving, this model is also easier to assemble. It comes with unassembled posts, 10 traverses, and molded-in dovetails. Its posts and traverses are made of steel and have corrosion-resistant polypropylene finishes. When assembled, this shelving unit measures 42 inches wide by 21 inches deep by 84 inches high.
