When at full capacity, the Cambro CBU246084S5580 Camshelving® Basics Plus starter shelving unit accommodates 1,800 pounds even though its top shelf has a 400-pound capacity, and each lower shelf supports 600 pounds. All five shelving tiers feature solid, rust- and corrosion-resistant polypropylene shelf plates that measure 60 inches wide by 24 inches deep. The solid surfaces help contain spills and won't crease towels and sheets. These shelves are treated with an antimicrobial protection agent that hinders fungal and bacterial growth between cleaning cycles, and for thorough sanitization, they can be wiped clean or washed in a dishmachine.
As inventory changes, operators can reposition the Cambro CBU246084S5580 starter shelving unit' shelves along the 84-inch-high composite post. These posts are capped with leveling feet that reduce the risk of teetering or wobbling as heavy product is loaded and retrieved. Safe in temperatures from -36 to 190 degrees Fahrenheit, this system is compatible with use in walk-in coolers or freezers, dry pantries, and dishrooms. This shelving design can be installed quickly as it includes 10 traverses, five bags of eight dovetails, and preassembled post connectors and wedges.
