This Cambro CBU213084S5580 Camshelving® Basics Plus starter shelving unit withstands temperatures from -36 to 190 degrees Fahrenheit, enabling storage in walk-in coolers and freezers, dry pantries, and warm dishrooms. It measures 30 inches wide by 21 inches deep by 84 inches high and is comprised of five levels of solid shelf plates. While its top shelf can hold 400 pounds, each lower shelf has a 600-pound capacity. To prevent damage to the unit's frame, no more than 1,800 pounds should be stored overall. Four composite posts with leveling feet balance the unit on irregular or sloped ground, preventing rocking that could cause items to fall.
The Cambro CBU213084S5580 starter shelving unit's solid shelf design is flat and sturdy—best for storing small or irregularly shaped items, linens, and products that tend to leak. Made of polypropylene, the shelves resist rusting, corroding, peeling, and scratching to protect stored contents. They're also treated with an antimicrobial agent that inhibits fungal and bacterial growth between routine cleanings. To ensure goods are stored on clean surfaces, the shelves can be wiped down, removed, and sanitized in a dishmachine.
