Cambro CBU244272V4580 Description
Ideal for bagged and boxed goods, small pieces of equipment, and perishables, the Cambro CBU244272V4580 Camshelving® Basics Plus starter shelving unit features four tiers of 42-inch-wide by 24-inch-deep vented shelf plates. The top shelf can hold 400 pounds, and each lower shelf has a 600-pound capacity, though no more than 1,800 pounds can be stored on the unit overall. Because each shelf has a gapped surface, air can pass through the slots to eliminate moisture and dust accumulation. To protect stored contents from contamination, the shelves' polypropylene construction resists rust and corrosion and is treated with Camguard® antimicrobial agent to hinder bacterial and fungal growth.
To accommodate a wide range of product storage requirements, the Cambro CBU244272V4580 starter shelving unit can be used in temperatures from -36 to 190 degrees Fahrenheit, enabling storage in walk-in coolers and freezers, pantries, and dishrooms. If it needs to be stored on a sloped or uneven surface, its leveling feet balance the unit, preventing it from rocking and causing objects to fall and break. Traverses, dovetails, and preassembled post connectors and wedges are included with this unit to speed up assembly.
