This Cambro CBU244264VS4580 Camshelving® Basics Plus starter shelving unit measures 42 inches wide by 24 inches deep by 64 inches high and features four shelving tiers. Though the top shelf is designed to hold 400 pounds, and each lower shelf can support 600 pounds, this unit is meant to hold no more than 1,800 pounds overall. To accommodate a wider product range than shelving units with only vented or solid shelf plates, this unit has one solid and three louvered shelf plates. The solid shelf has a flat, rigid surface that prevents leaks from spilling onto other shelves, provides sturdy support for small or irregularly shaped products, and won't leave imprints in towels and sheets. Air can flow through the vented shelves' slotted surfaces and move around product, creating an ideal storage space for perishable goods while eliminating moisture and dust buildup.

Because each shelf in the Cambro CBU244264VS4580 starter shelving unit is made of rust- and corrosion-resistant polypropylene and treated with Camguard® antimicrobial agent, products are protected from contaminants between cleanings. When needed, the shelves can be wiped clean and sanitized in a warewasher. This unit is safe in temperatures between -36 and 190 degrees Fahrenheit and can be stored in walk-in coolers and freezers, dry pantries, and dishrooms. For versatility in where it can be stored, its leveling feet balance the unit on sloped or uneven surfaces. Preassembled post connectors and wedges, eight traverses, and four bags of eight dovetails are included to expedite setup.
