The Cambro CBU215464VS4580 Camshelving® Basics Plus starter shelving unit features one solid and three vented shelf plates. The solid shelf is best for linens, goods that tend to leak, and small or irregularly shaped product, while the louvered shelves encourage uniform airflow to eliminate moisture and dust accumulation. Operators can configure the shelves as desired on the unit's four composite posts, and as inventory changes, the shelves can be lowered and raised. The top shelf can hold 400 pounds, while the lower shelves support 600 pounds each. To provide ample storage space, this unit measures 54 inches wide by 21 inches deep by 64 inches high, and it can be loaded with 1,800 pounds overall.
This Cambro CBU215464VS4580 starter shelving unit can be stored in temperatures from -36 to 190 degrees Fahrenheit, meaning it's compatible with walk-in coolers and freezers, warm dishrooms, and dry pantries. To reduce contaminant spread, each shelf is made of rust- and corrosion-resistant polypropylene and is treated with Camguard® antimicrobial agent. As the shelves become dirty, they can be removed, wiped clean, and sanitized in a dishmachine for thorough washing. This unit includes eight traverses, four bags of eight dovetails, and preassembled post connectors and wedges to hasten installation.
