To accommodate a larger product range than shelving units with only vented or solid shelves, this Cambro CBU214864VS4580 Camshelving® Basics Plus starter shelving unit includes one solid and three vented shelf plates. The solid shelf provides a flat, gapless surface to support small or irregularly shaped items, protect other shelves from spills, and prevent towels and sheets from becoming creased. The vented shelves feature louvered surfaces that encourage airflow to eliminate moisture and dust buildup while creating an ideal storage space for perishable goods. Despite their structural differences, each shelf is made of corrosion-resistant polypropylene, treated with an antimicrobial protection agent, and measures 48 inches wide by 21 inches deep.

The top shelf of the Cambro CBU214864VS4580 starter shelving unit has a 400-pound capacity, while each lower shelf can support 600 pounds; however, no more than 1,800 pounds should be stored on this unit to prevent structural damage.
