The Cambro CBU185464VS4580 Camshelving® Basics Plus starter shelving unit's one solid and three vented polypropylene shelf plates provide two storage options. The solid shelf's flat surface won't crease towels and sheets, and it provides a sturdy surface that prevents spills from dripping onto other shelves and the floor. The louvered shelves enable air to flow through them for uniform air circulation. When air moves freely across the shelves, it eliminates dust and moisture collection. Although the top shelf holds 400 pounds and each lower shelf has a 600-pound capacity, this unit shouldn't be loaded with more than 1,800 pounds.
To maintain clean shelf surfaces, the Cambro CBU185464VS4580 starter shelving unit's shelves can be wiped clean and sanitized in a warewasher. Molded-in Camguard® antimicrobial agent inhibits bacterial growth, which could create odors and stains between standard cleanings. The shelves' polypropylene construction also resists rusting, corroding, peeling, and scratching to protect stored items from damage. Compatible with temperatures from -36 to 190 degrees Fahrenheit, this 54-inch-wide by 18-inch-deep by 64-inch-high unit can be stored in freezers, coolers, pantries, and dishrooms, and its leveling feet balance it if it’s installed on uneven ground.
