Star GX10IG Description
The Star GX10IG Grill Express™ panini press has grooved cast iron plates that heat evenly, leave grill marks on food, and retain heat for extended periods. Since cast iron is heavy, the top plate efficiently presses sandwiches into the bottom plate. When this top plate is lowered, it can accommodate product as thick as 3 inches. A 3/4-inch splash guard surrounds the bottom plate, keeping liquids and crumbs confined to the unit.
Temperatures for this Star GX10IG sandwich grill can be adjusted through the manual thermostat, which ranges from 175 to 450 degrees Fahrenheit. Its handle is heat resistant to protect staff members, and its water-resistant conduit protects the electrical connections. Since grease collects in a removable trough, operators can clean the unit up quickly.
