Star 848MA Description
Manual controls enable users to conveniently adjust the temperature on the Star 848MA Ultra-Max® griddle, which operates from 150 to 550 degrees Fahrenheit. Temperatures are controlled in 12-inch sections by separate burners to create an even heat pattern and enable users to cook different products on different areas at the same time. Withstanding repeated heating up and cooling down, the polished steel plate measures 1 inch thick to retain heat better than thin plates.
Side and rear splash guards contain grease and liquids, keeping them off the countertop. These messes can be pushed into the 3 1⁄2-inch-by-1-inch trough, which sends grease to a drawer. To reduce the risk of overheating, this Star 848MA Ultra-Max griddle has adjustable legs that elevate the unit off the counter.
