Star 848MA Description
Built with a welded steel frame and stainless steel exterior, the Star 848MA Ultra-Max® gas griddle resists rust and offers long-term durability in heavy-use operations. Designed for countertop use, it features a wide polished steel griddle surface that maintains steady heat and distributes it evenly across the cooking zone. Four manual controls provide simple, direct flame adjustment, and the unit operates on liquid propane to ensure responsive performance in busy kitchens.
The Star 848MA Ultra-Max gas griddle includes a 6-quarts grease drawer that collects runoff to simplify end-of-day cleaning. Its heavy-duty control knobs are built to withstand repeated handling, while the 3 1⁄2-inch front grease trough channels excess grease away from the food. A wraparound 4 3⁄8-inch splash guard protects surrounding areas, and four stainless steel legs include 1 3⁄8 inches of adjustment to stabilize the unit on uneven surfaces.
