When ambient air is 70 degrees Fahrenheit and incoming water is 50 degrees Fahrenheit, the Scotsman MC0322SA-1 Prodigy ELITE® air-cooled ice machine head can produce 356 pounds of half-cube ice over 24 hours. This type of ice measures ⁷⁄₈ of an inch by ⁷⁄₈ of an inch by ³⁄₈ of an inch and is often served with soft drinks or blended into smoothies and frozen cocktails. To uphold efficiency during production, it features a front-located air filter, while its Harvest Assist mechanism directs cube ice into the bin, which is sold separately. Users can quickly determine operational status with the AutoAlert™ indicator lights. Designed to ease operation, routine cleaning, and servicing, Scotsman has a mobile app available for operator download. With the ICELINQ® app, operators have access to the machine dashboard, unit controls, and a step-by-step cleaning guide.

To minimize hands-on cleaning requirements, the Scotsman MC0322SA-1 ice maker head features a one-touch cleaning mechanism and patented WaterSense purge control that automatically reduces scale buildup. Antimicrobial protection inhibits bacterial growth on internal surfaces between regular cleanings, and to access the unit's key interior components, staff can remove the self-aligning front panel. To conserve space in compact settings, it measures 22 inches wide by 24 inches deep by 23 inches tall and is designed for use with the Scotsman B322S ice bin (not included). Its stainless steel finish simplifies external cleaning while providing long-term rust, dent, and scratch resistance to extend its service life.
