Hatco S-6 Description
The Hatco S-6 Imperial booster water heater has a Castone®-lined tank, meaning it is covered in stone instead of metal, decreasing the amount of corrosion and scale deposits. To simplify the initial setup and for user convenience, this unit is pre-plumbed and pre-wired at the factory. The heater’s hammertone finish and stainless steel front add strength and durability.
The water temperature needed to kill bacteria is 180 degrees Fahrenheit and this Hatco S-6 water heater reaches that point by raising the existing water supply by the necessary amount. Its hourly recovery rate is 60 gallons at a 40-degree-Fahrenheit rise and 34 gallons at a 70-degree-Fahrenheit rise. Tank heat is retained, and energy efficiency is increased, by the fiberglass insulation and heat trap.
