Hatco S-6 Description
The Hatco S-6 Imperial booster water heater is made to heat rinse water to 180 degrees Fahrenheit—the safe temperature for killing bacteria—making it fit for heavy dishwasher use. This unit’s recovery rate is 60 gallons per hour at a 40-degree-Fahrenheit rise and 34 gallons at a 70-degree- Fahrenheit rise. Its tank has a piping heat trap and fiberglass insulation to maintain the temperature, saving the user money versus continuously heating the tank.
This tank is lined with Castone®, a concrete-like material that provides corrosion protection and mineral deposit defense. Because some of the wiring and plumbing are done ahead of time at the factory, the operator has one less hassle to worry about when first setting up their Hatco S-6 booster heater. The body has a hammertone finish and the stainless steel front resists rust and scratching. The front can be opened so internal components can be serviced promptly.
