Hatco S-54 Description
The Hatco S-54 Imperial booster water heater is made for high-volume establishments with heavy-duty dishwashing needs. The proper temperature for killing rinse water bacteria is 180 degrees Fahrenheit, achieved by this heater with hourly recovery rates of 542 gallons at a 40-degree-Fahrenheit rise and 310 gallons at a 70-degree-Fahrenheit rise. Heat is retained in the tank with a heat trap in the piping and fiberglass insulation encircling the tank.
This tank is lined with Castone®, an anti-corrosion, cement-like product which minimizes scale and mineral buildup in the tank. User setup is simple because of the factory pre-plumbing and pre-wiring. For additional strength, the heater body has a powder-coated hammertone finish and its opening front is constructed of stainless steel.
