Hatco S-54 Imperial Booster Water Heater, 16 Gallon, 54 kW, 208v/3ph

This Hatco S-54 booster heater can provide a 70-degree-Fahrenehit rise to 310 GPH dishmachines or a 40-degree-Fahrenheit rise to 542 GPH dishmachines, heating water to 180 degrees Fahrenheit for sanitizing dishes in a high-temperature dishwashers. Its thermostat can be lowered to heat water to 140 degrees Fahrenheit for low-temp warewashers. A 16-gallon storage tank is lined with Castone®, a substance similar to concrete that protects the tank inteiror from corrosion.

For safety, the Hatco S-54 booster heater includes a pressure-relief valve that prevents pressure from building up in the tank. A high-limit switch shuts off the heating elements if they exceed the set safe temperature, and a low-water cut-off feature turns the heating elements off when the water level is too low. Those features prevent component damage and employee injury should any part malfunction. To speed up maintenance and service, the front panel removes to provide access to vital electronic components.
