To keep covered plates warm for events, the Metro MBQ-120 heated banquet cabinet features a thermostatically controlled bottom-mounted heat module. This system can heat to 170 degrees Fahrenheit in 30 minutes, and its analog thermometer provides an accurate, easy-to-read display. Operators can monitor holding time with its count-up and count-down multifunction timer. Once it's unplugged for transport, 1-inch-thick high-density fiberglass insulation preserves heat. Inside the unit, its three 44-inch by 22-inch nickel-chrome-plated removable wire shelves accommodate (120) 11-inch stacked plates, or eight stacks of six plates per shelf.

Built to transport plates between the kitchen and serving area, this Metro MBQ-120 heated banquet cabinet is fitted with 6-inch heavy-duty polyurethane casters—two are rigid, and two are swivel with brakes for stability during loading and retrieval. Its three-point-control handle enables users to steer this 52 5⁄8-inch-wide by 30 5⁄8-inch-deep by 60 1⁄2-inch-high unit by pushing or pulling the cart from the front or sides. This rust- and corrosion-resistant stainless steel unit withstands impact from collisions, while its nonmarking solid vinyl bumper protects walls and furniture from damage. The side door swings out to streamline plate insertion and retrieval and features a kick latch so users can access the cabinet when their hands are full. Operators can write the name of stored contents on the included whiteboard for quick content identification.
