Eliminate Microwaves with a Cadco VariKwik Oven

Cadco VariKwik Oven

Whether it's a neighborhood bar with the most popular late-night menu in town or a daytime cafe struggling to keep up with an early morning rush, operators are often in search of new ways to quickly cook food. Microwave ovens have long been a staple of many commercial kitchens, but this method of cooking and reheating can have a detrimental effect on the quality of some food, especially items that include bread. Fortunately, the engineers at Cadco have designed a better way to cook sandwiches, pizzas, croissants, and other popular items: the VariKwik oven, which cooks without microwaves. Learn more about how this line of high-speed countertop ovens uses tri-heat technology to quickly cook hot, crispy products customers will love.

About the VariKwik Oven

The VariKwik oven is a high-speed cooking solution capable of using three heat types during the cooking process: convection, conduction, and infrared. It has a compact countertop design with an optional stacking kit, so two of these ovens can be stacked on top of each other to maximize the available space. This line includes several models that offer different exteriors and power options. The VK-220 offers a 14 inch by 14 inch cooking area with 220-volt electrical operation. The VKII-220SS+, is a stainless steal model with a higher amperage and wattage.

Each model includes an anodized, non-stick CrisPlate™ cooking plate, two height options for the cooking plate, and a large spatula to remove items from the cooking chamber. Other standard features include digital controls with a touchscreen display, customizable cooking programs, a maximum cooking temperature of 500 degrees Fahrenheit, and an audible alarm to indicate the end of each cooking cycle.

The VariKwik Oven's Preset Recipes

VariKwik ovens come with several preset recipes to help operators begin improving their menus and waiting times as quickly as possible. The programmed recipes explained below are approximate cooking times designed for 220-volt models that have been preheated to 425 degrees Farehnheit. Each recipe includes variations for thinner or thicker menu items, so cooks can select the optimal process for their food.
