Globe G-Series Slicers

Introducing Globe's G-Series Slicers

When looking for reliability when it comes to slicing, many foodservice operators turn to Globe. The company’s G-Series slicers are some of the most popular medium-duty models available on the market, offering a range of features and benefits that help set them apart. Although each model in the series has its own unique specs and features, the G-Series encapsulates some commonalities that distinguish it from Globe’s economy and premium series.

Advantages of the G-Series

Globe currently includes four different slicers in its G-Series, each designed to accommodate different operator needs. Below, we'll outline the main features of G-Series slicers.

  • Durable Construction: Globe's G-Series slicers feature a knife constructed of a hard chromed special alloy with a hollow ground design that lasts longer and is easier to sharpen than other knife styles. The body of the slicer is made of anodized aluminum, constructed with seamless edges that simplify cleaning.

  • Safety: Pyramid-shaped gripping teeth on the underside of the end weight provide stability – even when slicing taller product – while nonslip rubber feet keep the slicer from moving during use. To protect the user's hands, a permanently attached knife ring guard and removable knife cover create a barrier between the user and sharp edges.

  • Ease of Use: Belt driven and featuring a stainless steel ball bearing chute slide system, the G-Series is designed for efficient operation. These models also feature an ergonomic, dual-purpose handle in addition to a large product receiving area. When cleaning is needed, all the parts on these slicers are easily removable.

  • Low Maintenance: The G-Series includes features that reduce the risk of damage to the machine. A motor overload protection system and manual reset option protect against overworking the motor, while sealed splash zones shield internal electronics from liquid and debris.
