True Refrigeration TS-23-HC Description
The True TS-23-HC reach-in refrigerator has a left-hinged door that opens on the right, and this door has a recessed handle that does not bang into nearby equipment or jut into the walkway. Self-closing, the door is completely constructed of durable stainless steel for corrosion resistance, while the stainless steel sides, front, and door are heavy duty and corrosion resistant. Matching aluminum makes up the back of the cabinet.
Inside the True TS-23-HC one-section refrigerator, product is illuminated by LED lighting and supported by three PVC-coated shelves, which can be adjusted in 1⁄2-inch increments to store tall or short product. Stored food is kept cool since the unit uses R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant, and fans circulate air around products to keep them evenly cooled at a set temperature from 33 to 38 degrees Fahrenheit. Because the condensing unit is installed on the bottom, it can be accessed for maintenance.
Buildup on the condensing coil is blown off every time the compressor turns on. The condensing fan motor blows in a reverse direction for 20 seconds to maintain a clean coil, enabling it to operate more efficiently over time. General maintenance practices should continue to be carried out to check on coil operation over time.
