Vitamix Commercial 062827 Description
The Vitamix Commercial 062827 blender is a versatile prep tool that is capable of blending, chopping, puréeing, and grinding different types of food. Included with the blender is a 64-ounce container that is made of clear, impact-resistant Tritan™ plastic. The variable speed control enables users to set the precise speed they need to prep anything from coarsely-chopped salsa to smooth soups and sauces.
This high-horsepower motor can make quick work of thick mixtures, and its included tamper lets users push dense foods towards the blade or remove air bubbles. Measuring 8 inches long by 9 inches deep, the Vitamix 62827 food blender takes up little space on the countertop.

These are the professional kitchen standard
Until you try a VitaMix v an Oster, KitchenAid, etc the price difference won't make sense. The same is true between a Matfer Chinois and a knockoff. They are in a tier by themselves while their ankle biting competitors can all be lumped together. This is an excellent blender, it has a tremendous amount of power, it is reliable, it is end user serviceable. Even taking that last item alone sets it far apart from it's competitors as that significantly extends it's service life to decades of heavy commercial use, or a lifetime in your home kitchen.
You make a strong case for it. That kind of power and long-term reliability is exactly why so many kitchens stick with Vitamix. We appreciate you calling out the serviceability too-that's a big deal when you're putting equipment through heavy use. Thanks for sharing your experience and insight.

I love how this blender works, it crushes everything you put in and you don't need to strain it.
I love this blender!
This is the ultimate vitamix! No fancy bells and whistles, but they're not needed. It blends perfectly and fast. AND it doesn't splatter everything all over the blender. I had purchased a different vitamix with a larger base and everything would splatter, so I sent it back. I'm much happier with this model!

Best Kitchen Purchase
This is the best money I've spent on any kitchen appliance/gadget. I use it every day and often several times a day. It makes the best smoothies, instant ice cream, smooth sauces, and finely chopped vegetables for many uses. I can't say enough good things about it.
