The ICETRO IM-0460-AH Maestro modular ice maker produces half-cube ice measuring 1 1⁄8 inches by 3⁄8 of an inch by 7⁄8 of an inch. This type of ice is great for bagging and dispensing and can be served in soft drinks or blended into smoothies. It tightly nests in drinks, increasing liquid displacement so operators can save on beverage costs. To produce 444 pounds of half-cube ice in 24 hours, ambient air must be 70 degrees Fahrenheit and incoming water should be 50 degrees Fahrenheit; this air-cooled unit features a self-contained condenser that operates with R-404A refrigerant. A front-mounted diagnostic panel displays operational information to staff can monitor unit status and determine maintenance needs.

The ICETRO IM-0460-AH ice maker head measures 30 inches wide by 24 4⁄5 inches deep by 22 3⁄5 inches tall to fit on the ICETRO IB-033 ice storage bin or ICETRO IB-044 ice storage bin (both sold separately). Its 304 stainless steel exterior delivers a sleek, classic appearance that matches other back-of-house equipment while providing lasting corrosion resistance and durability. While the ABS plastic interior is treated with an antimicrobial agent to minimize slime buildup and inhibit bacterial growth between regularly scheduled cleanings, the unit's cleaning switch can be flipped on to initiate the automatic cleaning cycle. For additional cleanliness, the evaporator's enhanced design can reduce airborne bacteria, and to simplify cleaning and maintenance, the water distribution tube, water sump, water curtain, pins, and hangers can easily be removed.
