Imperial IR-6-C Description
On the top, the Imperial IR-6-C restaurant range has six PyroCentric™ burners. Each of these burners provides 32,000 BTU of heating power to cook food quickly. Burners have separate grates with an anti-clogging shield, protecting the pilot from grease and food sediment. For user convenience, the grates are level with the landing ledge, so heavy pots can be slid over the grates and close to the edge, where users can get a better grip. The rear grates are extra wide, designed to put large pots directly over the flame for fast cooking. To increase efficiency, a hot air dam along the back reflects heat from the backguard towards the food.
This Imperial IR-6-C commercial gas range has an oven base. The standard oven has a linear burner with a baffle to direct heat around the oven. This design evens the interior temperatures for uniform baking. The interior accommodates 26-inch by 18-inch sheet pans and can hold product on the included oven rack. All the oven's walls—except for the bottom—are porcelainized, decreasing food buildup.
