Manitowoc Ice IYT0500A/D570 Description
The Manitowoc Ice IYT0500A/D570 Indigo NXT™ ice maker with bin can make 550 pounds of ice in 24 hours. It has an easyTouch® control panel that gives the operator the ability to control production times, set cleaning schedules, and see diagnostic information on the unit. Ice production can be controlled based on time of day or volume, and for visibility, the display is illuminated.
Each half-dice cube measures 1 1⁄8 inch by 7⁄8 inch by 3⁄8 inch. An acoustical ice-sensing probe helps ensure that ice is frozen to the proper thickness and density before it is harvested. The Manitowoc Ice D570 storage bin holds a maximum 532 pounds of ice, and its insulated lid helps keep the ice frozen. An ice scoop comes with the unit, and to prevent cross-contamination, a scoop holder is integrated into the bin.
This Manitowoc Ice IYT0500A ice maker is relatively simple to clean. It features a sealed food zone and a removable water trough, distribution tube, curtain, and sensing probe. Additionally, the stainless steel exterior has a DuraTech® finish that is resistant to fingerprints and corrosion.
