Manitowoc Ice IYF0300A 30" Indigo NXT™ Half Cube Ice Machine Head - 325 lb/24 hr, Air Cooled, 115v

Producing as much as 325 pounds of ice in 24 hours, the Manitowoc Ice IYF0300A ice machine head makes more ice in lower-temperature conditions. Operators can also program ice production to suit different applications, so ice making can be set for a certain time of day or desired daily volume. Great for restaurants serving a lot of soft drinks, the unit makes half-cube ice, while its condenser is air cooled, using fans to blow cold air over the evaporator plate to cool the refrigerant. As the refrigerant is cooled, it removes heat from the plate surface so water will freeze and form cubes.

To ease operation of this Manitowoc Ice IYF0300A half-cube ice maker, the control panel is icon based and provides critical machine information. Preventive maintenance and diagnostics in the unit monitor operation and help with servicing if issues arise. Cleaning the unit is convenient because the door to the food zone—the area that houses parts that come in contact with water—has a hinged design. Some of these parts can be removed for thorough cleaning, and an antimicrobial agent on critical components deters bacteria growth.
