Magikitch'n MKE-48-E Description
The Magikitch'n MKE-48-E electric griddle’s 1-inch-thick plate—the most durable plate thickness available—measures 48 inches, which is ideal for cooking large batches of food. The large tabletop design includes 4-inch legs to prevent heat damage to surfaces, 3-inch side walls and tall, a tapered backsplash to reduce mess, and four thermostatic controls with respective on/off switches. Attached to the underside of the plates are four heating elements wired to their respective thermostatic controls for accurate control of temperatures between 200 and 550 degrees Fahrenheit.
Basic maintenance of the Magikitch'n MKE-48-E commercial griddle demands cleaning the cooking surface after each use to prevent carbon buildup, using a wipe or a non-bristled scraper. Oil and debris travel through the trough and settle in the grease box. This compartment has a 3 3⁄4-gallon capacity and slides out for smooth emptying.
