Vulcan VC44EC Description
The Vulcan VC44EC double-section electric convection oven streamlines cooking commercial-sized food loads. Equipped with computer controls that offer digital time and temperature readouts, this unit has a 99-hour timer with an audible alarm to reduce risks of undercooking or burning products. Each section supports five nickel-plated oven racks, which measure 281⁄4 inches wide by 201⁄2 inches deep. Each rack includes 11-position rack guides with rack stops to secure racks in place. Users can access products by opening the independently operated doors; their double-pane windows and interior lights enable users to supervise food during cooking.
For consistent results the Vulcan VC44EC electric convection oven uses electric, solid-sheath elements for heating. As many as 100 programmable menu selections are accessible on the computer controls for versatile cooking methods. Its top, rear, sides, bottom, and doors are insulated to retain heat for back-to-back cooking, and a 1⁄2-horsepower, two-speed oven blower-motor in each section efficiently moves air across the racks. For rapid cool-down, an oven cool switch enables users to shut off the unit for cleaning shortly after use.
