The Vollrath 36451 drop-in cold well has a three-pan capacity. It's non-refrigerated, relying on ice cooling to maintain food quality so operators don't have to hook the unit up to electricity. This 8-inch-deep well is insulated with polyurethane foam to keep the cold temperatures around displayed product. The well interior measures 37 1⁄2 inches long by 19 7⁄8 inches wide—great for salads, pastas, and coleslaw. For added durability and resilience, it has an 18-gauge 304 stainless steel interior and an 18-gauge galvanized exterior.
