The Browne 5814830 non-stick frying pan has an angled handle with a silicone cover that is comfortable for long periods of use. The cover removes for cleaning, and the handle is secured in place with three offset rivets. The exterior of the pan has a satin finish that creates a classic look, while the interior has a non-stick coating that makes cleaning after cooking simple. We LOVE B H skillets -- bought set of 3 this time!
These skillets make cooking anything a pleasure. They are heavy duty, provide even heat, and hold their heat very well for cooking in all parts of the skillet surface. We LOVE the silicone handle (stays cool!!!) and the non-stick surface is truly non-stick and stays that way. Advice: Just don't ever let the skillet overheat with or especially without food in it to maintain the surface. (I let my first Browne Halco get too hot and it still works, but has lost a bit of that wonderfully non-stick surface.) ALWAYS use only silicone turners, tongs and other stirring/turning utensils. HAND WASH your skillets -- no dishwashers ever!! NEVER use a metal scratcher nor abrasive cleaner inside the skillet. NEVER run cool/cold water in your hot skillet. Soak any stubborn or dried tidbits to remove--never scrape nor scratch. Let cool completely before hand washing with mild detergent. Finally, use a very fine-grained powdered cleaner that is made for pots and pans to keep the outside of the skillet gleaming. You will have a wonderful piece of cookware that will last -- maybe forever??
