With its 48-inch by 21-inch size and five tiers of shelving, the Cambro CPU214884V5PKG Camshelving® Premium shelving unit holds as much as 2,000 pounds. Because its shelf plates are made of polypropylene, it resists damage from humidity, moisture, and chemicals. This smooth material can be wiped clean or run through the dishwasher. Between these cleanings, an antimicrobial agent inhibits fungal, bacterial, and mold growth to prevent odors, stains, and product degradation. Louvered with gaps to encourage uniform air circulation, these shelves help prevent dust buildup in dry storage and maintain cold temperatures in walk-in refrigerators and freezers.

Compatible with walk-in storage, pantries, and humid dishrooms, the Cambro CPU214884V5PKG starter shelving unit is safe in temperatures between -36 and 190 degrees Fahrenheit. Made for high-volume operations, this Premium-series unit supports heavy bagged and boxed goods as well as daily deliveries. This series comes with unassembled post kits that have molded-in dovetails, so it's easier to assemble than Cambro's Basics Plus and Elements models. The dovetails don't require on-site installation, and the traverses and posts have durable, corrosion-resistant, polypropylene-coated steel constructions.
