This Cambro CPA215484V5PKG Camshelving® Premium add-on shelving unit can be fastened to a Premium starter shelving unit in a straight line or in L-, U-, and T-shaped configurations using the included traverses, molded-in dovetails, and unassembled post kit. Once assembled, the add-on unit measures 54 inches wide by 21 inches deep by 84 inches high and features five tiers of vented shelf plates. Each shelf can support 800 pounds, though storing more than 2,000 pounds on the unit will result in damage to the posts. To ensure contents are stored in appropriate environments, this add-on shelving system is usable in temperatures from -36 to 190 degrees Fahrenheit, so it's safe to store in dishrooms, pantries, and walk-in coolers or freezers.
For consistency, each shelf in the Cambro CPA215484V5PKG add-on shelving unit measures 54 inches wide by 21 inches deep, features a louvered surface that encourages uniform airflow, has a corrosion-resistant polypropylene construction, and is treated with an antimicrobial agent that inhibits fungal and bacterial growth between cleanings. The shelves can be removed and repositioned along the posts to support various products as inventory changes. They're also safe to wipe clean and sanitize in a warewasher to ensure their surfaces remain free of contaminants.
