When loaded to its full capacity, this Cambro CBU216084V4580 Camshelving® Basics Plus starter shelving unit accommodates 1,800 pounds. Its top shelf is built to hold 400 pounds, while each lower shelf has a 600-pound capacity. Each shelf has a vented surface that encourages air to pass through the slots and around product. Free-flowing air can help eliminate moisture and dust buildup while creating an ideal storage space for perishable goods. The shelves' polypropylene construction resists rusting and corroding to maintain a contaminant-free surface, and an antimicrobial protection agent molded into the shelves inhibits bacterial growth to prevent formation of stains and odors.
Traverses, dovetails, and preassembled post connectors and wedges are included with the Cambro CBU216084V4580 starter shelving unit to facilitate setup. For adaptable storing, this unit is safe to use in environments between -36 and 190 degrees Fahrenheit, enabling use in freezers, coolers, pantries, and dishrooms. If it needs to be installed on an uneven surface, four composite posts with leveling feet balance the unit, preventing wobbling and rocking when products are loaded and retrieved. To provide ample storage space, this shelving system measures 60 inches wide by 21 inches deep by 84 inches high.
