Crathco FROSTY 2 Description
The Crathco FROSTY2 frozen drink machine comes with two bowls that can hold 3.2 gallons of product, providing an overall capacity of 6.4 gallons. Because the bowls are transparent, the frozen treats can be merchandised to increase impulse buys, and LED lights brighten these bowls for clear product visibility. To grab the attention of guests, the top has an illuminated merchandising panel.
The Crathco FROSTY 2 frozen granita dispenser's exterior finish is black, which fits into most settings, and a safety mechanism stops operation when the covers are lifted. A double mixing system reduces ice buildup in the unit, while its control keypad is manual and straightforward to use. Because the unit is air cooled, it requires 8 inches of clearance on all sides for proper operation, and it uses R404A refrigerant.

I would not purchase this machine again
I bought this machine because of the big bowls and the lights which show the product well. The reason I gave it 1 star is because the handle broke after 3 weeks and is not covered under the warranty. They do not cover plastic pieces. I ordered a new handle and have been waiting 5 weeks now as it is made and shipped from Italy. You also have to adjust the temp constantly as it freezes the outside of the bowl. The company doesn't cover that and wants to sell you a @200. thermometer to check it along with the sugar content. Check the fine print!!
