Star PST14 Description

The Star PST14 Pro-Max 2.0® panini press temperature can be adjusted from 175 to 550 degrees Fahrenheit using analog thermostat controls. Since the spring-hinge system on the unit is heavy duty, it opens and closes without bending. A 3-inch gap between the plates can accommodate thick sandwiches, and the smooth aluminum plates heat up quickly and toast product evenly. However, this material is lighter than cast iron and stainless steel, so it may not press the product as efficiently.

Since the plates are smooth, they can be cleaned more quickly than grooved options. For safety, the Star PST14 panini press has a water-resistant conduit that keeps electrical connections covered. The body is stainless steel, which is resistant to rust, scrapes, and dents. Its small footprint helps save space, and it can sit on a countertop for comfortable operation.
